The Research Manager will be responsible for managing the syndicated data and research business (Ad-hoc research) for Publicis Media Shanghai, driving usage and application across agency brands and clients. This will include defining the research approach – scope, process, deliverables for business, marketing and media objectives. Support and enable brand teams to sell-through research services and deliver research projects.
The Research Manager is responsible for embedding analytics across Publicis Media clients’ portfolio. The job scope will include support analytics projects end-to-end, apart from working with client teams and external analytic partners to successfully establish research in China. The Research manager will also be responsible for delivering training to agency teams on application of research.
The Research Manager should have exposure and understanding of general data availability for China market to suggest and enable any external overlays (such as geo-demographic systems or household data), market research (quantitative or qualitative research) coupled with new methods of capturing such data to strengthen any analytical solution. Understanding of marketing (and media industries) is desirable.
