一、Account Director

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Strategic mind and good communicator with the ability to understand and lead client dialogue.

  • Demonstrates strong passion for bringing good ideas and initiatives to life.

  • Motivate, coach, inspire, and support staff in the Agency team. 

  • Execution and operations knowledge in TVC production (at least produced a couple of TVCs and understands the process and technical aspects).

  • Leadership on the campaign strategy, creative idea development, and execution with a day-to-day supervision on the process and delivery from the cross function team.

CREATIVE OUTPUT

  • Strategic thinker with local relevance and leadership for the client’s business.

  • Ensure that the cross function brand team provides value-added thinking with a holistic approach toward client assignments and integrated solutions.

CLIENT EXPOSURE

  • Form strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are being met and that they are receiving the appropriate level of service from your team.

  • Accountable for client relationships and satisfaction; builds strong rapport and trust and meets/exceeds client expectations.

COLLABORATION

  • Work closely with Account, Planning, Creative, and Producer Teams to deliver concepts in a creative, compelling, and convincing manner.

TEAM LEADERSHIP

  • Acts as an advisor and source of technical advice to team members.

  • Identify and develop each team member’s talents and provide appropriate learning opportunities and challenges for them to perform at peak level. 

  • Provide training and career development for team members.

  • Be receptive and accessible to team members for guidance in problem-solving and coaching on all aspects of TBWA\Group\China and client’s business.

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

  • Manage all client projects within budget - via close collaboration with creative (on idea feasibility) and production (working with producer to control cost).

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 6+ years of management experience is preferred. 

  • Working knowledge of ATL, BTL.

  • Experience in retail, food industry, and other fast and detail driven category is preferred. (majority of experience in FMCG is not preferred)

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Advertising or Marketing.

  • Strong understanding of Marketing principles and campaign execution essential.

  • Ability to drive strategic development of the brand/products and push things to the next level.

  • Proven ability to interact effectively with Clients.

  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and motivate a team.

  • Ability to orchestrate others to take action/"go getter" type (Activator).

  • Ability to invest in others and derive satisfaction from teaching, mentoring, and/or coaching (Developer).

  • Out-going, confident, pro-active and keen interest in keeping up with latest trends. 

  • A ‘can-do’ attitude, enjoy nightlife & social drinking

  • Having worked in China more than 2 years OR comes from a Chinese cultural background. (i.e. from HK, Taiwan, Singapore if not from China)

  • Fluent in reading/writing/speaking Mandarin and English.

  • Open-minded and ambitious with high integrity.

二、Digital Account Director

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Oversee complex projects and relationships from the beginning to the end; interfacing with internal teams, Clients, and outside vendors.

  • Take the lead on several accounts; determine budgets and teams for each projects.

  • Propose clever ways to solve project challenges through planning and analysis, intelligent information design, and the use of the latest interactive technologies.

CREATIVE OUTPUT

  • Provide Client and team leadership and direction.

  • Produce original proposals on how to use advances interactive and integrated solutions to achieve the Client’s goals.

  • Responsible for strategic thinking for the Client’s business.

  • Lead Agency and Client teams through the strategic planning process.

  • Initiate in-depth reviews/analyses of Client’s business when needed; at least annually.

  • Catalyst for big idea generation and sell-in to Client.

  • Provide value-added thinking by taking a holistic approach on Client assignments and proactively offering integrated solutions. 

  • Challenge the entire team to think proactively about improving the Client’s business results by identifying opportunities and presenting solutions.

  • Study consumer insights and trends and apply to the Client’s business.

  • Undertake effective research, tracking, and analysis to support marketing recommendations.

  • Assess the quality of the Client’s creative direction and redirect as appropriate. 

  • Participate and contribute to new business activities as required.

CLIENT EXPOSURE

  • Build and maintain positive, strong, and long lasting Client relationships. 

  • Maintain on-going communication with Clients regarding their level of satisfaction and Agency performance.

  • Oversee all internal and Client presentations to ensure that all are clearly communicating a compelling point-of-view with fact-based rational and benefits for Client buy-in; and meet Agency.com's standards of excellence.

  • Circulate information to keep GM well informed on Client business, Agency issues, and Client projects.

COLLABORATION

  • Foster teamwork and a constructive working environment.

  • Manage multiple internal departments for optimal productivity. 

  • Establish great partnerships within all Agency departments.

TEAM LEADERSHIP

  • Examine and lead teams too stretch beyond the Clients' expectations on all projects. 

  • Possess well-rounded and in-depth knowledge of all Agency resources and engage these resources at the right time.

  • Create/revamp processes when applicable for the Agency to meet/exceed Clients’ needs.

  • Inspire individuals to grow by providing learning opportunities and challenges.

  • Develop and direct the professional growth of your team with emphasis on leadership, strategic thinking, and general account management (creative briefing, assessment and managing the Client’s finances).

  • Help people with problem solving by being accessible and receptive.

  • Conduct performance conversations with the team.

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

  • Achieve and exceed financial targets without employing extra resources/increasing costs.

  • Monitor and manage account profitability.

  • Ensure that the Client’s financial processes are operating smoothly.

  • Supervise and ensure accuracy of the Client's fee and cost billing through consistent communication with the Finance Department. 

  • Raise any financial issues to the Senior Finance Manager as required.

  • Ensure accurate recordkeeping of working time by all team members.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Advertising or Marketing.

  • 5 years of relevant experience.

  • Strong understanding of Marketing principles and campaign execution essential.

  • Experience in CRM, online media planning, and search engine marketing desirable.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Marketing communications planning, website development, web technologies at a level which instills confidence in others.

  • Proven managerial skills; personnel and financial (budget management; cost control, etc.)

  • Strong interpersonal skills and Client relationship building skills.

  • Solid verbal and written communication in English and Chinese.

三、Creative Director

JOB DESCRIPTION

CREATIVE OUTPUT

  • Effectively manage Creative Teams to produce original and usable concepts in response to creative briefs.

  • Persuasively pitch key creative concepts to clients and defend the rationale behind the thinking.

  • Review, judge, and refine work produced by Creative Teams.

CLIENT EXPOSURE

  • Develop client relationships to support delivery of creative works.

COLLABORATION

  • Work in partnership with all relevant Departments to ensure effective communication and management of teams' expectations.

  • Work with Account Teams to understand the clients’ brands and manage projects in a way that will support maximum delivery of the brand.

  • An accomplished Associate Creative Director with total of 6+ years of experience in ATL, BTL, and/or the digital field (4A Agency experience is preferred),

  • Solid understanding of design principles and creative conceptualization skills, 

  • Successful track record of managing diverse teams and proven leadership skills,

  • Very good communication and presentation skills, 

  • Excellent written and oral English.

四、Senior Digital Strategist

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN DAN

  • Plan and implement digital strategies across entire digital spectrum, from the web to social to mobile

  • Understand our client’s category, competitive set and their brand and business goals/objectives

  • Plan, prioritise and deploy an appropriate mix of communication strategies and tactics in the digital space to achieve client’s business objectives and present as a thorough proposal

  • Lead the development of insight driven digital strategies for new businesses

  • Uncover digital insights and provide thought leadership in best practice, macro and micro trends, behaviours and technologies

  • Create documentation to support and communicate digital strategies to internal teams and clients

  • Partner with Creative, Technology and Account Management to ensure successful project handoff

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Social media native and savvy in all things digital

  • Champion of social and digital landscape, audience behaviour in the China Market

  • Good understanding of technologies, trendings and how they play a role in the brand audience eco-system

  • Eloquent on data platforms and social listening methodology

  • Excellency in both oral and written communications skill (English and Mandarin)

五、Senior Planner / Associate Planning Director 

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:  Strategic management of account/s in an independent, autonomous manner 

  • Lead day-day strategic initiatives and discussions with the clients, creative and account teams.

  • Build relationships with clients to ensure we are seen as a strategic partners and brand guardians.

  • Partner with creative and brand leaders to lead the strategic process through brief generation, research design, implementation and analysis, intelligence support, etc.  

  • Contribute to 「intellectual property」 of agency through documenting and sharing specific projects and initiatives.

  • Be restless, curious and open-minded. Bring in new perspectives, methodologies and partners to help us better understand our brands’ and our audiences’ worlds.

FUNDAMENTALS

Research: 

  • Effectively manage all research relating to the audience, brand and media channels.

  • Understand the audience, the brand and new media opportunities better than anyone else. 

  • Monitor cultural and social trends, and their impact on consumers' attitudes, behavior and perceptions, using a variety of market and research data.

  • Able to turn research data and insights into compelling stories

  • Develop innovative ways to research the brand, category, culture and audience

  • Knowledgeable with marketing terminology, common KPIs, consumer purchase funnels, and navigation within a Fortune 500/blue chip company environment

Brand/ Relationship:

Creative Briefs: 

  • Craft inspiring briefs and briefings to lead creative to the unique and breakthrough solutions

  • Provide the creative team with a clearly defined brief that contains concise information on the product, audience and strategy enabling them to develop creative ideas that may be applied to a variety of media channels that will promote the idea most effectively.

Communication/Presentations: 

  • Compelling presenter and genius story-teller

  • Effectively communicate their ideas, POVs, and strategies to clients and the team

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years experience in advertising, marketing or related field demonstrating creative work or qualitative research and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required

  • Evidence of success in developing brands and delivering them to market 

  • Excellent interpersonal, organization and written communication skills.

  • Proven leadership abilities

  • Power-user skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Keynote 

  • Familiarity with wide range of research and intelligence sources

  • BA/BS or Masters degree
